During checkout, customers will be prompted to enter their credit or cheque card details. A 3D Secure authentication page will then appear, requiring customers to verify their identity with their bank using either a password or a one-time PIN (OTP). Once authentication is successfully completed, the payment will be processed and reflected in the respective Payfast or Paystack account.

The authentication process involves three simple steps:

1. Enter your debit or credit card details.
2. If 3D Secure is activated for your card, a secure authentication window will appear. Your bank will request identity verification via an authentication code—typically a single-use security code sent via SMS to your registered mobile number.
3. Upon entering the correct security code and successful verification, the payment will be processed, and your order will be confirmed.

If three authentication attempts fail, the transaction will be canceled, and a hold may be placed on your card. In such cases, you will need to contact your bank for further assistance.
